Our 100% Emu Oil contains no other ingredients, and is fully refined and molecularly distilled. Molecular Distillation can remove unwanted contaminants which may not be removed by traditional refining methods alone, including heavy metals, herbicides, pesticides, arsenic, and other toxins.

Emu Oil is renown as being one of the only moisturizers able to deeply penetrate all epidermis layers of the skin providing nutrients like (EFA) - essential fatty acids Omega-3 & Omega-6. This is what gives Emu Oil its moisturizing, pain relieving, and anti-inflammatory capabilities. Works FANTASTICALLY as a makeup remover! Many have found removing makeup with biological healing oils such as Emu Oil to be an improvement over harsh chemical makeup removers that seem to dry out the skin. Oils such as Emu Oil or Squalane can be used to remove eye makeup. Either one of these can be applied lightly to the area, rub gently removing even water-resistant makeup, then wash thoroughly with warm water. By removing eye makeup in this manner the skin is afforded the lipid replenishers that it needs.

All our Emu oil is Fully Refined and Molecularly Distilled. It has a shelf life of 3 - 4 years without any refrigeration. If you want to extend the shelf life of our Emu oil beyond the 3 - 4 years, you can refrigerate or freeze the oil. This coloration is due to the type of food the emu may be eating. In the northeast U.S. they may be fed more corn than in the south west. The color of the oil in this instance does not effect the efficacy of the oil. All Emu oil may contain a slight oil smell, since it is animal derived.

In addition to the refining processes, our Emu Oil is processed by Molecular Distillation. This final process maintains all beneficial properties (fatty acid profiles) in tact and removes all impurities and contaminants such as heavy metals, herbicides, pesticides, arsenic and other cancer-causing toxins. This final process offers the purchaser/consumer the absolute cleanest, purest, safest and highest quality Emu oil available to today's technology.

**NOTE: Never use during a chemical peel - It is perfectly fine to use the Emu Oil immediately after a peel. However you would not want to use it prior to rinsing off the chemical peel. Emu oil would amplify the effects of the peel if it was applied DURING the peel application process, so be sure to wait until neutralized. Emu Oil is a perfect soother and moisturizing healer.

When Emu Oil becomes cold, it thickens. You'll notice this more during the colder months of the year. For this reason, please "warm it up" for easy dispensing. Warming up can be done by placing the bottle of emu oil in a hot cup of water for a few minutes. Shake it up and use.

By it's natural properties, all emu oil may have a slight odor to it. That does not mean it's bad oil. Some folks with sensitive noses may notice it more than others.

Since emu oil may contain a slight oil odor (although we only notice a slight oil smell which doesn't seem to be bothersome), we also sell essentials oil offered the option to add a few drops of essential oil to your product
